About Us

At Dream Big Story Makers...

Our mission is to create and share uplifting stories that inspire children to dream big, act bravely, and connect deeply with others.

Dream Big Story Makers began from nightly reading rituals between a mother and her two children, where poems about family life, local adventures, and Australian settings evolved into short stories and then picture books. Seeking purpose beyond a corporate career, founder Nicole Ortiz turned these intimate, relatable tales into stories that celebrate courage, connection, and everyday wonder.

We are driven to help encourage young readers to discover their bravery and dream beyond limits with a blend of adventure, hope, and heart. Through our creativity and story, we hope to show kids that courage comes in many forms and that small steps can lead to great things.
